A. Louise Luebbers, 81, of Oakville, MO., passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Pacific Care Center in Pacific, MO. Mrs. Luebbers was born in Kennett, MO., on December 31, 1935. She was a seamstress who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active participant in Jefferson County’s “Citizen’s Against Crime”, she assisted in her community with fundraisers, local charities, homeless shelters and Feed My People.
She is survived by three children Sherryelle and husband Bill Ford of Vienna, MO., Jerry Kirby and wife Joyce of Corning, AR., Kelly Ostrander of Barnhart, MO.; one sister Dr. Billie Jeanne Holmes-Buttner of Vero Beach, FL.; eight grandchildren Tommy Ford, Jeanie Ford, Kristal (Scott) Ford-Moore, Dewayne (Michelle) Kirby, Krista (Shane) Ward, Ashley (Tony) Russo, Cassandra (Mason) Curry, and Stephanie (Casey) McNabb; Ten great-grandchildren Tyler Marshall Ford-Moore, Paige Gander, Rachael Jones, Jesse Ward, Jacob Ward, Sylar Russo, Savannah Russo, Keegan Curry, Peyton Curry, Ellaina McNabb; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Elma (Burns) and step-father Leon Smith; and her father William Jackson Southern.
Graveside memorial services for family and friends will be conducted Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Doniphan, MO.
