Mrs. Agnes Poyner, 94, of Success, AR., passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mrs. Poyner was born in Datto, AR., she was a homemaker, she enjoyed quilts and crafts, she was a member of Success Church of Christ.
She married her husband Jessie James Poyner on July 1, 1933 in Datto, AR. He preceded her in death in 1977.
She is survived by one son Leland Poyner of Currentview, MO.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents H. F. and Ava (Cleveland) Keelin; two sons Thomas F. and Carl Lynn “Punk” Poyner; four brothers Huey, Everett, Arthur, and Frank Keelin; three sisters Ethel Whitehead, Lucille Flanigan, and Marie Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 17, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Clayton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Held Saturday, February 17, 2011 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.
