Albert Foster

Mr. Albert Charles Foster, 83, of Knobel, AR., passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at home. Mr. Foster was born in Tipperary, AR., on February 23, 1935. He retired from the GM V-8 Engine Plant in Flint, MI., after 36 years and was a UAW member. He enjoyed wood widdling and dancing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his children Mark Foster of Troy, MI., Van Foster of Burton, MI., Steve Foster of Corning, AR., Cindy Lodge of San Diego, CA.; brother Delmar Foster of Knobel, AR.; four grandchildren Kara, Anthony, Rebecca, Lauren; and great-grandson Damien.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Dotson and Mettie Lou (Gould) Foster; two sisters Esther Deatherage, Beulah Finn; two brothers Delbert Foster and Alvin Foster.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Fry officiating. Burial will follow the services in Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be hels Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
