Mr. Albert Milburn, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning. Mr. Milburn was born in Rector, AR., on April 14, 1925. He was a self employed Saw Mill operator. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and attending church, he was a memeber of the Hickoria Missionary Baptist Church.
He married his wife Pauline (Cate) Milburn on February 17, 1945. She survives. Other survivers include son Larry Randall Milburn of Doniphan, MO.; daughter Dianna Austin of Corning, AR.; brother Floyd "Bugs" Milburn of Corning, AR.; sister Pauline Dodd of Rector, AR.; three grandchildren Kelly Joplin, Randy Milburn, Kim McCollum; four great-grandchildren Doug Hill, Thea Hill, Misty Hudson, Shelby Joplin; four great-great-grandchildren Lexi Hill, Katelyn Hill, Devon Royce and Jaiden Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Marion and Sophia (Oliver) Milburn; six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Bill Morris and Carl Cate officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal. Public visitation will held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
