Mr. Alvie Henry Foster, 69, of Success, AR., passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at home. Mr. Foster was born in Saint Louis, MO., on August 1, 1945. He was a roofer who enjoyed building ladder climbers for roof shingles.
He is survived by his children Jeri Warbritton of Clinton, AR., Debra Smith of Poplar Bluff, MO., Rick Foster of Poplar Bluff, MO.; two step-children Misti Cobb, Eric Mullenburg; two brothers Rolla Foster of Doniphan, MO., Tom Foster of Oxly, MO.; one sister Tempy Schultz of Doniphan, MO.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents William "Bill" Charles Foster and Etta Geraldine "Geri" (Wilburn) Fitzsimmons.
Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
