Alvin Ray Gleghorn

Alvin Ray Gleghorn, 76, of Knobel passed away April 7, 2023 at home.

Mr. Gleghorn was born February 20, 1947 in Knobel. He was retired from the City of Corning. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, yardwork, sports especially basketball and baseball. He played baseball every Saturday for years with a group of buddies. He was of the Christian faith.

On July 7, 1977, he married Kathy Denning. They celebrated their 45 ^th wedding anniversary last July. Other survivors include his niece Marsha Flurry of Corning and his beloved dogs, Pittie and Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harley Louander and Gladys Marie (Sneed) Gleghorn and sister Marion Smith.

Visitation will be Monday April 10, 2023 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
