Angie Boyd, 60, of Knobel, AR., passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. Angie was born July 11, 1964 in Paragould, AR. She was a longtime secretary at Park Elementary School in Corning and former cheerleader sponsor for the Corning High School Bobcats. Angie lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and kindness. For 15 years, Angie worked as a dedicated nurse, providing compassionate care to her patients and making a lasting impact on the lives she touched. Her commitment to helping others was evident in both her professional and personal life. Angie had a deep passion for antique shopping, always in search of hidden treasures, and found joy in crafting beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Her love for animals was boundless, and she cared deeply for every creature that crossed her path. Above all, Angie cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and joy. Angie will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Angie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corning.

On July 3, 1986, she married Joe Boyd. They were married 39 years this past anniversary, he survives. Other survivors include her children, Savannah Wheeler of Burleson, TX., Joseph (Kristin) Boyd of DeSoto, MO., and Hannah Boyd of Knobel, AR.; mother Ann Arnold Hamlett of Corning, AR.; brothers Jerry (Wanda) Arnold of Thornton, AR., and Dennis (Mary Ann) Arnold of Highland, KS.; sister Margaret (Harold) Carter of Jonesboro, AR.; grandchildren Luke and Ava Wheeler, Asher and Matthew Boyd and Skylar Krah; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Warren Arnold and grandparents Leroy and Grace (Smith) Barnett, Bascom Bedford and Nellie (Wilder) Arnold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin 2:00 PM with Bro. Herbert Ellis officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR.
