Ms. Anita Faye Melton, 56, of Doniphan, MO., passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family in her daughter's home. Ms. Melton was born in Walnut Ridge, AR., on October 7, 1960. She was a Home health Aide for River Valley Inn Home and was a member of River Valley Community Church in Doniphan, MO.
She is survived by three daughters Stephanie Nielson of Lakeland, FL., Jessica Martin of Doniphan, MO., Vela Melton of Doniphan, MO.; two brothers Ronnie Gobel of Boiling Springs, SC., John Gobel of Poplar Bluff, MO.; three sisters Kathy Johnson of Mountain Home, AR., Erma Underhill of Etawah, TN., Estalee Looney of Alabama; nine grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Henry Gobel and Jessie Geraldine (Fortner) Cannon; one son William Wayne Melton; one brother Marvin Gobel; one sister Shirley Colon and very close friend Virgil Hooper.
Memorial services will be held Monday, December 19, 2016 at 6:00 PM in the River Valley Community Church, Doniphan, MO., with Reverend Alan Wilson officiating.
