Anna Sue Hawkins

Anna Hawkins, 85, of Corning, passed away March 26, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Hawkins was born March 9, 1941, in Knobel. She worked as a beautician in the Corning area for many years and was known for her caring nature and dedication to her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She was a member of the Corning Church of Christ.

On June 21, 1958, she married Elbert Hawkins, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Michael Hawkins of Corning, and her grandson, Blake Craft of Corning.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Randy Hawkins and Gail Hawkins; her parents, Ralph Henry and Ardella (Wilson) Weese; her brothers, Dewayne Weese and Leverl Weese; and her sisters, Betty Holliman, Ruth Williams, and Esther Jones.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial in Corning Cemetery.
