Anna Hawkins, 85, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Born on March 9, 1941, in Knobel, Arkansas, Mrs. Hawkins devoted many years to her work as a beautician in the Corning area, where she was cherished for her kind spirit and unwavering dedication to her family. She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones and was an active member of the Corning Church of Christ.

On June 21, 1958, she married Elbert Hawkins, who preceded her in death. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Hawkins, and her grandson, Blake Craft, both of Corning, Arkansas.

Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her husband Elbert; her children, Randy Hawkins and Gail Hawkins; her parents, Ralph Henry and Ardella (Wilson) Weese; her brothers, Dewayne Weese and Leverl Weese; and her sisters, Betty Holliman, Ruth Williams, and Esther Jones.

Family, friends, and all who knew Anna are invited to pay their respects on Monday, March 30, 2026. Visitation will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m., with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will be held at Corning Cemetery.

Anna Hawkins’s warmth and dedication touched many lives, and her memory will continue to be celebrated by all who were fortunate to know her.
