Annie Morrow

Mrs. Annie Morrow, 72, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Morrow was born on March 6, 1947 in Harris County, TX. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and went on to earn Master’s Degrees in Counseling and Secondary School Administration. Over her 35-year career with the Corning School District, she worked in many capacities including teacher, counselor, principal, and most recently Director of Curriculum. Mrs. Morrow enjoyed walking, gardening, school activities and spending time with her grandchildren and families. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corning.

On November 27, 1986, she married J.C. Morrow. He survives, other survivors include her son Russ Riggan and wife Missy of Saint Louis, MO.; stepson Bob Morrow and wife Sherry of Doniphan, MO.; sister Pat Malone of Corning, AR.; grandchildren Carson, Carlley, Cade, Will, Sam, and Henry Riggan, Spencer Morrow, Stephanie (Shane) Talburt, Dalton Pennington, Micah (Jake) Netherland; great-grandchildren Braidy and Landry Talburt, and Shiloh Netherland; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Kody Riggan; parents Jessie and Emma Twiller (Kern) Pulliam; and sister Polly Schmidt.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Josh Raspberry officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
