Arbutis Graddy

Mrs. Rosie Arbutis Graddy, 81, of Maynard, AR., went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Saint Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Graddy was born in Maynard, AR., on December 13, 1929. She was a retired assembly worker from Brown Shoe Factory. She enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers. She was a long-time member of Big “T” Apostolic Church in Corning, AR., where she truly did enjoy worshipping the Lord.

She is survived by two sons William Benton and wife Fran of Maynard, AR., Charley Benton of Rockford, IL.; two daughters Wilma Reeves of Rockford, Il.,
Carolyn and husband Gary Wright of Roscoe, IL.; two brothers Danny Francis and wife Glenda of Maynard, AR., Louis “Pete” Francis and wife Frances of Maynard, AR.; two sisters Cledith and husband R.L. Lowe of Maynard, AR., Glenda and husband Anthony Simpson of Clay City, IL.; 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Clarence William and Martha Elizabeth (Mollencupp) Francis; husbands Raymond Benton and Joe Graddy; daughter Mildred Solberg; two brothers Hulen and J.H. Francis; sister Viva Mae Francis; two grandchildren Christy Wright and Travis Benton.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Big “T” Apostolic Church in Corning, AR., with Pastor Bryan Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Legate Cemetery near Maynard, AR., Public visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Malone, Daniel Malone, Jay Malone, Wayne Kissee, Mike Malone, and Daygan Pugh.
