Arlene Baxter

Arlene Baxter, 87, of Corning passed away October 9, 2021 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Baxter was born October 18, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA. She was retired from BRAD and Noah’s Ark. Arlene enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Corning Church of Christ.

On November 30, 1951, she married William W. Baxter. He preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include her sons Robert O. (Donna) Baxter of Climax Springs, MO, Dan W. Baxter and Jeremiah (Shelli) Baxter, both of Kansas City, MO; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her father Daniel W. White, mother Evelyn Bryant, and brother Elmer Lee White.

Visitation will be Thursday October 14, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with James Johnston and Lavern Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Corning Cemetery.
