Arthur Owens

Mr. Arthur Bennie Owens, Sr., 70, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Owens was born in Corning, AR., on February 22, 1950. He was retired from Jim’s Tire & Auto. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars in the shop and most of all, spending time with his family. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

On October 27, 1988, he married Dorothy Jean Pearson. She survives. Other survivors include his children Brandon Dean Owens and wife Shea, Arthur Benny Owens, Jr., and wife Megan, Kristy and husband Allan Williams, Brian Owens and wife Jennifer, all of Corning, AR., Tommy Owens and wife Jennifer and Anna and husband Ernie Camacho, both of Rockford, IL.; sisters Emily Miller of Brownsville, TN., Anne Ladyman of Corning, AR., Connie Brown and Brenda Curtis, both of Searcy, AR., and Alice Hughes of Imboden, AR.; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Richard and Flora Beatrice (May) Owens; brothers Richard Owens, Jimmy Owens; sisters Sandra Bell, Dorothy Sitch; and grandchild Jocelyn Owens.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
