Asher Dawsey, 14, of Pocahontas, AR., went to Heaven with his mother Hanna Dawsey on Monday, November 4, 2024 at home. Asher was born September 30, 2010 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He attended Pocahontas High School and was in the 8th grade. Asher was a member of the Pocahontas Marching Redskins and Trap Team. He enjoyed fishing, frog gigging, hunting, playing Xbox and PlayStation with his friends, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his grandparents Pamela Burns of Gideon, MO., David Burns of Corning, AR., Charles and Nancy Pence of McDougal, AR., Darlene Dawsey of Corning, AR., Kim and Mike Lane of Pocahontas. AR.; uncles Nathan (Addie) Burns of Paragould, AR., Dale (Jennifer) Pence of St. Francis, AR., Jeremy (Hailey) Mooneyhan of Reyno, Michael Burns of Piggott, AR.; aunt Myria (Luke) Harmon of Paragould, AR.; special brother Jacob Mooneyhan of Rector; best friend Nathaniel; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Wayne and Evelyn Kilbreth, Doyne and Dorothy Burns and a grandfather Greg Dawsey and great grandmother Doris Blagg.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Reverend Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR.
