Aubrey Johnson

Mr. Aubrey R. Johnson, 80, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Saint Bernard’s Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas, AR. Mr. Johnson was born on July 9, 1941. He was a retired from Corning Bank where he was a loan officer for many years. He enjoyed taking care of his horses and spending time with his family and friends. For the past 25 years, he followed his passion in life and was a Trail Boss in Eminence, MO., at Cross Country Trail Rides.

On August 19, 1961, he married Billie Cloe Robinson. They celebrated 59 years of marriage prior to her death on August 31, 2020. Survivors include his granddaughter Chase Raymer of Van Buren, MO.; brothers Rudolph Johnson of Corning, AR., and Cleston Johnson of Dexter, MO.; great-grandson Walt Raymer; and several other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his son Todd Johnson; and parents Herbert Roy and Alice Lauell (Richardson) Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116-7023.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
