Austin Causey, 25, of Corning, passed away September 2, 2026, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee.

Austin was born May 22, 2001, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He worked as a tree trimmer and was a young man who enjoyed making the most of life. He loved being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and spending time at the river. He also enjoyed playing baseball and spending time with his family and friends.

Those who knew Austin will remember him for his fun-loving personality and his mischievous sense of humor. He was a true prankster who loved playing jokes on people and bringing laughter to those around him. His playful spirit and the memories he created with his family and friends will be treasured and remembered for years to come. Austin attended Faith Fellowship in Paragould.

Austin is survived by his mom, Jennifer Causey of Corning; dad, Kevin (Natasha) Causey of Corning; siblings, Autumn Causey and Jude Causey, both of Corning, Sydney Thomas of Harrison and Ashlee Teel of Pocahontas; Granny, Cathy Green of Corning; Mawmaw and Papaw, Irene and Don Garner of Piggott; many other brother, sisters, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his Pa, George Green; Pappaw, Bob Causey; and aunt Ashley Green.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kevin Causey, Jude Causey, Jeff Potts, Hunter Green, Seth Green and Dillon Lane. Honorary pallbearers are Dakota Thompson, Colton Green, Paul Valdez and Don Gardner.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Kason Lawrence officiating. Burial will be at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel.
