Aven Edward Niswonger

Aven Niswonger, 95, of Osage Beach, MO passed away November 3, 2021 at Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, MO.

Mr. Niswonger was born June 20, 1926 in Knobel, AR. He was retired from Acme Fast Freight where he worked as a foreman for 24 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing banjo, guitar and was a US Army veteran.

On December 13, 1947, he married Faye Millikan. They enjoyed travelling together and were married 66 years prior to her death on April 16, 2004.

Survivors include his sons Randolph (Mary) Niswonger of Osage Beach, MO and Kenneth Niswonger of Eldon, MO; grandchildren Adam and Bryan Niswonger; and great grandchild Jude Aven Niswonger.

He was preceded in death by his parents William C. and Manerva Alice (Miller) Niswonger, sisters Viola Faye and Verla Mae Pasha.

Visitation will be Tuesday Nov. 6, 2021 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Corning Cemetery. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
