Barbara Evans

Barbara Evans, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at home. Mrs. Evans was born July 10, 1946 in Peach Orchard, AR. She was a pottery maker. Barbara enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

On April 5, 1977, she married Dennis Evans. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children Dennis Shane (Mary) Evans of Corning, AR., Kimberly Evans of Corning, AR., and Kevin (Megan) Spurlock of Marmaduke; AR.; brother Terry Forehand of Beech Grove; AR.; sister Bonnie Boatner of MN; grandchildren Colton Evans, Savanna Rogers, Roman, River, Liam, Jayna and Stephanie Spurlock, Jessica Heinrich; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her children Mark and Marty Spurlock; parents Hubert and Lorene Forehand; and siblings Doyle, Bernice and Larry Forehand, and Earlene Sweaney.

Visitation will be held  Friday, June 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin 2:00 PM with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
