Barbara Sue Lane

Barbara Lane, 63 of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Ms. Lane was born September 16, 1960 in Corning, AR. She worked in Corning as a cashier and her friends knew her as Barb. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching ballgames, fishing, going to the river, shopping, and going out to eat.

Survivors include her children Steven (Joyce) Lane, Chris (Jenna) Cox, Jeremy Cox, Jennifer Harmon, and Russel Cox, all of Corning, AR.; brother Bryan Lane of Corning, AR.; sisters Cindy (Stanley) Spence, Donna Lane, Brenda (Donnie) Stormes, Jamie (Michael) Dowdy, all of Corning, AR., and Angie Lane of Wappapello, MO.; grandchildren Steven, Lyndsey, Ashley, Haydon, Sydney, Jakob, Brooklyn, Bryce, Lathan and Kaylee-Ellieana; great grandchildren Payton, Phoebe, Kai, River, Lake, Creek, Blakely, Myles, Maddox and Graclyn; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Shirley (Barksdale) Lane and sister Arlene Lane.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Stanley Spence officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemtery.
