Mrs. Barbara Jean VanNada, 73, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. VanNada was born Success, AR., on August 22, 1942. She was a homemaker and truck driver who enjoyed yard sales, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She married her husband of 54 years Wayne VanNada on February 20, 1960. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2015.
She is survived by four children Judy Barnett of Doniphan, MO., Cindy Norman of Jonesboro, AR., Nancy Wilson of Grapevine, AR., John VanNada of Harrisburg, AR.; one brother Johnny Parker of Highland, AR.; nine grandchildren Michael Malone, Jason Barnett, Leslea Johnson, Victoria Vandiver, Jonathan VanNada, Joshua Norman, Matthew Norman, Brittany Norman, Kaesha Koons; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Robert Junior and Velma Lea (Hart) Parker; and one brother Lonnie Parker.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
