Berneice Young

Mrs. Berneice Young, 88, of Salem, AR. formally of Knobel, AR. passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem. Mrs. Young was a homemaker, she was a member of the Church of Christ, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and gardening.

She married her husband Leo Young on September 13, 1941 he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son Vern Young of Knobel, AR.; two daughters Carolyn Bowen and Charolett Wright of Mammoth Springs, AR.; two brothers Jerry Davidson of Knobel, AR., O.J. Davidson of Jackson, TN.; two sisters Brenda Dorris and Louise Waldron of Kennett, MO.; five grandchildren Kenny Weaver, Todd Young, Tami Barber, Stephen Wright and Lee Davis; eight great-grandchildren Amy Weaver, Brittany Curtis, Sophie Wright, Sarah Barber, Marshall and Cole Young, Trisha and Rachel Davis; one great-great-grandchild William Ryder Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Young; parents Vernon and Lorine (Mott) Davidson; two brothers Denver and Veles Davidson and sister Mazelle Gore.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Herbert Starr officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Bond Cemetery at Knobel, AR. Public visitation will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
