Bert Swan

Bert Allen Swan, 78, of Datto, AR., passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at home. Mr. Swan was born in Perryville, MO., on August 3, 1941. He was a retired electrician, a 50+ year member and Past Master Corning Masonic Lodge # 719. He enjoyed singing, playing piano, fishing, hunting, watching Saint Louis Blues Hockey and Saint Louis Cardinal baseball games. He was a member of the Datto Missionary Baptist Church.

He married his wife of 44 years Mrs. June Sharon (Eddington) Swan on November 1, 1975, she survives. Other survivors include children Chris Swan of Georgia, Scooter Kincade of Farmington, MO., Liz Kincade of Datto, AR., Jeanne and husband Roy Holland of Arnold, MO.; eight grand children Jamie Kincade, Dustin Kincade, Jason Kincade, Jessica Holland, Alyssa Daniel, Chace Daniel, Meghan Swan, Hannah Bingesser; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Lizzie (Clifton) Swan; two brothers Ray Swan Charlie Swan and sister Alma Ham.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Mike Chadwick and Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
