Mrs. Bessie Lee Howell, 80, of Collinsville, IL., passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL. Mrs. Howell was a Retail Sales Clerk.
She married her husband William Howell on Saturday, November 20, 1948 he preceded her in death on September 28, 1981.
She is survived by three children Barbara A. Roquemore of Kathleen, GA., William D. Howell of Cutler, IL., Roberta G. Noah of Collinsville, IL.; four siblings James Boatner and wife Kay of Molalla, OR., Eloise and husband Joe Morrow of Newport, AR., Johnny Boatner and wife Bonnie of Pocahontas, AR., Lucille Campbell of Belleville, IL.; three grandchildren Chrisopher D. Roquemore and wife Crystal, Barbi D. and husband Eric Good, Jessica E and husband Matt Charazinski; and seven great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husband William Howell, her parents John Koster and Birdie Lillian (Brooks) Koster Boatner and one grandchild Shannon L. Roquemore.
Funeral services will be conducted graveside in the Corning Cemetery Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Melvin Shelton officiating. Public visitation will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel until the time of service.
