Mrs. Bette Hall, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, in San Antonio, TX.

Born in Success, Arkansas in 1925, Mrs. Hall was involved in Christian ministry with her husband, Dr. J. Leland Hall, for over sixty-three years. Her husband was the pastor at First Baptist Church, Melbourne, Florida from 1971-1986. Prior to coming to Melbourne, they ministered in churches in Arkansas, Texas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Missouri. They also served many churches in the Brevard, Florida area in the role of interim. Bette also taught school for ten years and hosted a radio show on WCIF 106.3 FM.

In 1946, Bette was married to Leland Hall, the love of her life and faithful companion for sixty-three years.

She was the loving mother to Bette Lee and her husband, Charles Moeller of St. Louis, Missouri, Alma and her husband, Norm Wakefield from Bulverde, Texas, Dr. Jim Hall and his wife Dawn of Wildwood, Missouri, Lydia and her husband, Greg Goode, of Titusville, Florida, and Hal Hall and his wife, Sharon of Ronald, Washington. Bette is also survived by her twenty grandchildren (fourteen spouses), and forty-four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Doll Cochran of Corning, Arkansas and several other in-laws and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents Eulis and Alma (Cunningham) Cochran and brother Bob Cochran.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1:30 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
