Betty Allen

Mrs. Betty Allen, 73, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at home. Mrs. Allen was born in Shirley, MO., she was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She married her husband J.D. Allen on July 28, 1956. He survives. Other survivors include one son James Douglas Allen of Alton, MO.; two brothers Fred Robinson of Trenton, NJ., Richard Robinson of Broken Arrow, OK.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by parents George and Esther (Strange) Robinson; one son Danny Gene Allen; two brothers Deon and Gary Robinson; one sister Naomi Spyers.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Don Clayton and David White officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Public visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
