Betty Archer

Mrs. Betty Jane Archer, 67, of Paragould, AR., passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Archer was born in Steele, MO., on March 30, 1948. She was a retired teachers aid, working many years for the Knobel, Corning and Paragould School Districts. She enjoyed crafting, singing, playing horseshoes and camping. She was a member of New Life Family Church at Knobel, AR.

She married her husband of 48 years Mr. Collis Archer on August 5,1967. He survives, other survivors include one daughter Carla and husband Tim Poletti of Paragould, AR.; two sons Micheal Archer and wife Marinda of Jonesboro, AR., Thomas Archer and wife Misty of Jonesboro, AR.; two sisters Pat Howe of Paragould, AR., Kay Kepner of Peach Orchard AR.; four brothers Bill Hewlett of Poplar Bluff, MO., Sam Hewlett of Wichita, KS., Jimmy Hewlett of Shreveport, LA., Scott Hewlett of Paragould, AR.; six grandchildren Micah, Maddie, Wil, Maggie, Trey, and Dax.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sammy D. and Mildred (Wheeler) Hewlett; two brothers T.L. Hewlett and Kenneth Hewlett.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
