Betty Brownfiel

Betty Brownfiel, 88, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Brownfiel was born October 14, 1935 in Peach Orchard, AR. She was retired from Corning School District where she was an administrative assistant to the principal for over 40 years and bus driver for more than 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, collecting coffee mugs and loved to make Christmas candy for her friends and fellow school staff. She was a member of Reyno First Baptist Church.

On June 16, 1953, she married Bob Brownfiel. They were married 40 years prior to his death on November 16, 1993.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra McNamee of Little Rock, AR.; grandchildren Misti (Calvin) Outlaw, Heath (Paige) McNamee and Bobby Lovins, great-grandchildren Brileigh, Colby and Morgan, and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter Sherrie Lovins and parents Clarence and Hazel (Foley) Hance.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reyno First Baptist Church, PO Box 164, Reyno 72462 or Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, 6 Physician Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the Ermert Funeral Chapel at  9:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM with Bro. Roger Hovis and Bro. Eddie Gene Wright officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
