Mrs. Betty Jean Jackson, 73, of Ravenden, AR., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at home. Mrs. Jackson was born in Cache lake, AR., on November 19, 1939. She was a homemaker and member of the First General Baptist Church in Corning.
She married her husband of 49 years Phillip "Mike" Jackson on December 24, 1960. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Lewallen of Ravenden, AR.; two granddaughters Lacey and husband Austin Cotter of Greenbrier, AR., Channing Lewallen of Corning, AR.; four great-grandchildren Dylan, Cole, Miley and Chacey.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Joseph and Leona (Bowers) Herring; son Kreg Jackson and sister Mary Elizabeth Herring.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
