Mrs. Beulah Fay Johnson, 95, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 with her daughter in Piedmont, MO. Mrs. Johnson was born in Poynor, MO., on June 2, 1922. She was everything from a homemaker to a truck driver hauling rice and beans. She enjoyed church activities, quilting, embroidery, playing piano, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Corning, AR.
She married her husband of 55 years Mr. Woodrow Johnson on May 22, 1945. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2000.
She is survived by three children Barbara and husband Larry Crosley of Piedmont, MO., Barney Johnson and wife Cathy of Barnhart, MO., Danny Johnson and wife Debbie of Jonesboro, AR.; seven grandchildren; Thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents George Washington "G.W." and Mattie Beulah (Lynn) Hopper; her brother Floyd Hopper and his wife Bertha Hopper.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Bro. Wayne Clark and Reverend John Michael officiating. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
