Bill Brooks

Mr. Billie Frank "Bill" Brooks, 82, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mr. Brooks was born in Corning, AR., on January 27, 1930. He was a handyman. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of the Veterens of Foreign War, Rapert-Poyner Post # 8347 in Corning. He was Pentecostal in faith.

He is survived by three nieces Sandra and husband Gary Conyers of Corning, AR., Nancy List of Rockford, IL., Brenda Bailey of Oklahoma; three nephews Farrell Brooks of Michigan, Wayne Brooks of Michigan, Phillip Brooks of Michigan and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Marshall and Stella Mary (Arnold) Brooks; two brothers Walter Brooks, Albert Brooks; five sisters Lessie Batch, Rosa Herren, Winnie Brooks, Jewell Slifka, Merle Brown and seven nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Corning Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of service in the Ermert Funeral Home.
