Bill Couch

Mr. William "Bill" Arthur Couch, 78, of Pollard, AR., passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mr. Couch was born in Detroit, MI., on November 27, 1938. He was a retired Truck Driver, having worked for the Pipeline and Clay County Electric Cooperative Company. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren, playing and watching sports especially baseball and just being outdoors. He was a member of Smith Chapel General Baptist Church in Boydsville, AR.

He married his wife of 35 years Jo Ann (Grissom) Couch on March 28, 1959 in McDougal, AR. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1994.

He is survived by his children Billy Couch and wife Sherri of Buffalo, TX., Randy Couch and wife Lori of Pocahontas, AR., Lora and husband Jeff Young of McDougal, AR., Wesley Couch and wife J’Anna of Corning, AR.; grandchildren Adam Couch, Eric Ahrent, Stephanie Moore, Samantha Couch, Christy Ghandi, Heath Young, Sadie Couch, Maggie Couch and Jayce Couch; great-grandchildren Addison, Gus, and Sylas Couch, Toby and Lance Wilson, Jay Berry and April Miller; brother Tommy Couch of Evansville, IN.; sister Helen Chadwick of Rockford, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents Albert and Mildred (Bogle) Couch; and a brother Sam Couch.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Faughn and Patrick Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow the services at Mars Hill Cemetery near the Crockett Community. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
