Bill Davis

Mr. Billy Leroy Davis, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Mr. Davis was born in Hobsonville, AR., on August 10, 1941. He worked in construction and retired from being a professional auctioneer after 30 years. In addition to auctioneering, he enjoyed going to auctions, fishing, and hunting.

He married his wife of 57 years Mrs. Peggy Joyce (Goodman) Davis on December 23, 1961. She survives, other survivors include his children Randy Goodman of Corning, AR., Billy Davis of Little Rock, AR., Karen Bell of Bourne, MA. Joyce Lane of Corning, AR.; brother Ronnie Davis of Corning, AR.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Henry and Estell Marie (Payne) Davis; two brothers H.D. Davis and John Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
