Mr. William Dewayne Dobbins, 60, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at home. Mr. Dobbins was born in Hickoria, AR., on July 13, 1951. He was retired from Farm Services and Monroe Industries, he was of the Christian faith.
He married his wife Marcia Diane (Lucy) Dobbins on March 30, 1979. She survives. other survivors include three sons Billy Dobbins of Reyno, AR., Wade Dobbins of Corning, AR., Micheal White of Corning, AR.; one daughter Brandy Dobbins of Corning, AR.; one brother Raymond Dobbins of Walnut Ridge, AR.; four sisters Marie Malott of Piggott, AR., Carol Blanton of Corning, AR., Rozetta Thompson of Knob, AR., Loretta Shields of Knob, AR.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Belah (Pence) Dobbins; one son Jason Dobbins; two brothers David Dobbins and Allen Walley.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Rock Springs Cemetery near Knob. Public visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
