Mr. William Nathan Hale, 68, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Hale was born in Camden, NJ., on November 19, 1943. He was a retired locksmith. He proudly served his country as a member of both the United States Navy and the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith.
He married his wife Patsy Ann (Jones) Hale on December 19, 1988. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters Kim Elliott of Neelyville. MO., Michelle of New Jersey.; one brother Robert Hale of Arizona.; three sisters Lucille Robinson of Paragould, AR., Dorothy Wentzel of New Jersey, and Betty Jean of New Jersey.; three step-sons Larry Graham of Sikeston, MO., Gary Graham of Sikeston, MO., Billy Kane of Sacramento, CA.; grandchildren Crystal and husband Chad Bates of Pocahontas, AR., Josh Elliott of Phoenix, AZ.; one great-grandson Chad Bates Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Nathan and Dorothy (Zigler) Hale.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Old Bethel Baptist Church, 180 County Highway 449, Sikeston, MO. 63801 with Reverend Amous Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Silent Hill Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
