Mr. Billy Hartsfield, 70, of Boydsville, AR., passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at home. Mr. Hartsfield was born in Leachville, AR., on September 30, 1943. He was a Batch Plant Manager for Delta Asphalt and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Corning, AR.
He married his wife of 50 years Betty Alice (Brewer) Hartsfield on October 11, 1963, she survives. Other survivors are one son Gerald Hartsfield and wife Michelle of Boydsville, AR.; one brother Freddie Hartsfield of Piggott, AR.; two grandchildren Dillan Hartsfield of Rector, AR., and Kaylee Hartsfield of Boydsville, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Lutha Pauline "Paulie" (Hood) Hartsfield; and one son Doyle Hartsfield.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Bro. Carl Thomason officiating. Burial will follow the service at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
