Mr. Bill Luter, 96, of Corning, AR., passed away at home on Friday, January 24, 2025. Mr. Luter was born on April 21, 1928 in Biggers, AR. He was a farmer; he proudly served his country as a member of both the United States Army and Air Force. He enjoyed watching sports, going fishing and visiting with family. He was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his three sons David Luter of Corning, AR., Craig Luter of Sherwood, AR., and William Luter of Saint Charles, MO.; four grandchildren Evan, Meridith, Samuel, Sydney and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anita (Carter) Luter; his parents Clarence Elmer and Margaret (King) Luter; and brothers and sisters Emil, Clarence Elmer “Deutzy” Jr., Orton, Lahoma, Ronalda, Theo, Harry, Ronald, Conrad and Tracy.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM with family members officiating. Burial will follow in the Corning Cemetery.
