Bill Mckinney

Mr. Bill McKinney, 69, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. McKinney was born at Moark, AR., on February 19, 1942. He was a farmer, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with cattle, and spending time with family and friends. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam era as a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard. He was a member of the Lion’s Club, an associate member of the American Legion and he was a Mason.

He is survived by two sons William McKinney of Salem, MO., Jon McKinney of Fairdealing, MO.; one sister Katherine Crawford Bicklein of Troy, MO.; one grandchild Sydney McKinney of Salem, MO.; and one aunt Grace Sheridan of Corning, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents Stirl and Alma (White) McKinney; one brother Shon McKinney and one sister Anita Edwards.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Crawford officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Williams Cemetery near Corning. Public visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
