Mr. William T. "Bill" "Dub" Tutor, 83, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at home. Mr. Tutor was born in Harviell, MO., on July 3, 1931. He was self-employed, working in produce and merchandising. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by companion Betty Earhart of Corning, AR., seven step-children Larry StCin and wife Diane of Carbondale, IL., Leslie StCin and wife Linda of Carbondale, IL., Bonnie and husband John Taylor of Corning, AR., Patty and husband David Leonard of Corning, AR., Bambi and husband Jim Halcomb of Corning, AR., Belinda and husband Kenny Donald of Colorado, Ray Tutor and wife Rhonda of Dupo, IL.; two children he raised Sarah Dunn of Houston, TX., Diamond Dunn of Corning, AR.; one brother Donald Tutor of Knobel, AR.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Word and Edith (Hodge) Tutor; his son Jimmy Tutor; four brothers Sam Tutor, Alfred Tutor, Elfred Tutor, Loyd Tutor; four sisters Helen Pruett, Oneta Jones, Novella Threadgill, Carol Rice; two grandsons and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow the services at Williams Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Friday, December 26, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
