Bill White

Mr. Billy R. White, 80, of Paragould, AR., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Green House Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould, AR. Mr. White was born June 7, 1941 in Blytheville, AR. He proudly served in the United States National Guard for 6 years and was retired from Black’s Sawmill in Corning in addition to being a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.

On January 1, 1971, he married Nyla Kepner. They were married 50 years prior to her death on February 6, 2021.

Survivors include his daughter Karla (Steven) Fairchild of Paragould; sisters Sharon Williams of Corning, Darlene Parks of Rector and Nina Easterwood of AZ; grandchildren Christopher and Justin (Mandy) White, Hannah (Keaton) Massey, Zachary and Kodi Fairchild, and Sadie White; and great grandchildren Ellie, Nora and Bailey White.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents Walter Lee and Bessie (Oglesby) White; brother Sterling White; and sister Leona McMillen. Son Greg White

Visitation will be Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Brownie Cemetery in Peach Orchard, AR.

Proudly serving as pallbearers are Christopher White, Justin White, Zachary Fairchild, Kodi Fairchild, Keaton Massey and Rodney Parks, Jr.
