Billy Hutchison

Mr. Billy Wayne Hutchison, 78, of Poplar Bluff, MO., passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Hutchison was born in Hickoria, AR., on June 20, 1938. He was a retired millwright for Quaker Oat Co. and Roper Whitney Co. in Rockford, IL. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He was a retired member of UAW. He was a member of Smith Chapel in Boydsville, AR.

He married his wife of 59 years Mrs. Lela Edna (Staggs) Hutchison on December 21, 1957. She survives, other survivors are three sons Gary Hutchison of Dalton, GA., Terry Hutchison and wife Barbara of Rockford, IL., Larry Hutchison and wife Karen of Durand, IL.; two daughters Virginia and husband Russell Miller of Davis, IL., Robin and Dean Meinert of Rock Grove, IL.; one brother Donald Hutchison of Rockford, IL.; eleven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie James and Lillie Elvira (Maddux) Hutchison; three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January, 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Suiter officiating. Burial will follow the service in Maddux Cemetery near Boydsville, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
