Mr. Robert "Bob" Burns, 64, of Knob passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Home. Mr. Burns was born in Paragould on July 25, 1949. He was a mechanic, he enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and Baseball on Television. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign War, American Legion and Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife Sherlie Ann (Williams) Burns on June 14, 1967. She survives. Other survivors include one son Bobby Burns and wife Melanie of Corning, AR.; two daughters Angela and husband Dennis Risinger of Marmarduke, AR., Carrie and husband Darrell Arnold of Corning, AR.; two brothers Dewayne Burns of Columbia,TN., Ed Burns of Corning, AR.; one sister Sherlie Harmon of Knob, AR.; eight grandchildren Felisha, Keshia, Blake, Chris, Samantha, Darean, Slater, Kelsey; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cleatus Harold and Barbara Sue (Huckabay) Burns and one son Nick Burns.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Kenney Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery in Knob, AR., with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM
