Bob Hardin, 68, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at home. Bob was born February 3, 1956. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, where he received his healthcare license. He started his medical career at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR., as an LPN, then went on to do x-ray, lab and nuclear medicine at Corning Hospital, several facilities in Poplar Bluff, MO., and most recently, First Choice Healthcare in Corning. Bob enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing the guitar and spending time with his family. He loved going gambling with his late wife, Loretta prior to her passing. He was a member of First Christian Church in Corning.
On March 26, 1980 he married Loretta Hartsell. She preceded him in death on April 16, 2021.
Survivors include his daughters Shelly Horton of Paragould, AR., Renae Briney of Corning, AR.; brothers Randy (Martha) Hardin and Michael (Tammy) Hardin, both of Paragould, AR.; sister Brenda (Chester) Cooley of Dexter, MO.; grandchildren Gage, Cade, Cyle, and Colby Briney and Trey Horton; several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents Harry Elmer and Ruby Louise (Strickland) Hardin, and brother Jeffery Douglas Stallings.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM with Bro. Tim Burgess officiating.
