Bobbie Koonce, age 92, of Frisco, Texas, formerly of Corning, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 7, 2026, at The Cottages at Chapel Creek in Frisco.

Born on March 23, 1934, in Blytheville, Arkansas, Bobbie was the beloved daughter of Temton and Harriet (Smith) Estes. She dedicated many years as a secretary for the Corning Cable Company and took great pride in her role as a homemaker. Bobbie was a devoted member of Old Reyno Freewill Baptist Church, where her faith and sense of community were an important part of her life.

Bobbie had a vibrant spirit that could light up any room. She loved playing dominoes—and she loved to win—bringing laughter, playful competition, and joy to every game. She was funny, a little mischievous, and full of life, always smiling and laughing in a way that brought joy to those around her. Whether she was cross-stitching, enjoying time by the lake, or simply gathered with loved ones, she made every moment special. Above all, she was a wonderful grandmother and a steady, shining light to her family.

Bobbie is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Susan (Tom) Hoffmann of Frisco; her sister, Nancy (Joe) Hughes of Jonesboro; her three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; along with numerous relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Koonce; her son, Clay Koonce; and her grandson, Clayton Koonce.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Corning Cemetery, with Bro. Bill Hughes officiating. Burial will follow.

She will be remembered for her laughter, her love, and the light she brought into every life she touched.
