Bobby Atkinson

Mr. Bobby Lynn Atkinson, 73, of Peach Orchard, AR., passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at home. Mr. Atkinson was born in Newport, AR., on January 4, 1938. He was retired from Farm Services. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, he was a member of Veterans of Foriegn War and was of the Baptist faith.
He married his wife Sharon (Andrews) Atkinson on February 10, 1962. She survives, other survivors include one daughter Sherry Lynn Rainwater of Peach Orchard, AR.; one sister Beatrice Bullock; two grandchildren B.J. Lindsey and Reicken Lynn Rainwater; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herman Atkinson, Virginia (French) and Raymond Cleveland; one brother Raymond Eddie Cleveland; one sister Mary Jo Daughhettee.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Pirtle Cemetery in Peach Orchard with Military Honors. Public visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2011 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
