Mr. Bobby Stevens, 64, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, Febraury 1, 2012 at John J. Pershing V. A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Stevens was born in Corning, AR., on October 8, 1947. He was an auto body repair technician, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He married he wife Garonda Gale (Catt) Stevens on June 8, 1974. She survives. Other survivors include one son Matthew Stevens of Charleston, MO.; one daughter Brandy Stevens of Jonesboro, AR.; one brother Perry Stevens of Knobel, AR.; one sister Elnora Coleman of Corning, AR.; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents A.F. and Florence (Case) Stevens; two brothers Arlie and Heil Stevens.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Febraury 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Meadors officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitaion will be held Friday, Febraury 3, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
