Boyd "Bob" Beecher

Boyd “Bob” Merl Beecher, 81, of Corning passed away September 19, 2019 at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector.

Mr. Beecher was born February 3, 1938 in Neelyville, MO. He was a farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing, making knives, hunting arrowheads, and working in his shop. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his children Rosalie (David) Mooneyhan of Piggott and Boyd (Amy) Beecher of Greenbrier; sister Mary Carpenter of Paragould; grandchildren Franklin (Janay) Householder, Jr. and Holly (Chad) Tompkins; great grandchildren Jacob Householder, Ethan & Ashlyn Roberts, Jadah Smith, Ryan Tompkins, and Keaton Brooks; ex-wife Dora Beecher; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Ward Beecher and Cecil (Hogan) Malding; brothers Arvil, Harvey, Earnest, George, Dave, Jake, and Jim Beecher, Charles, Herb, Harmon, and Charles Malding; and sisters Marie Beecher, Deloise Guynes, Martha Warbritton, and Florence Hinkle.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
