C. J. White

Mr. C.J. White, 88, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mr. White was born in Monette, AR., on January 3, 1931. He was a retired State Trooper from the Arkansas State Police. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Grassylead Church of Christ in Corning.

On November 4, 1950, he married Norma Jo (Darr) White. They recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, other survivors include his two daughters Diane and husband Franklin Young of Milan, MI., Renee and husband Chris Hollis of Doniphan, MO.; six grandchildren Bart White and wife Tina, Amy and husband Danny Jordan, Justin Young and wife Tammie, Stephanie and husband Adam Squires, Marcus Dunn, Heather and husand Jeff Esmon; 13 great-grandchildren Madison and Mallory White, Erik and Ethan Jordan, Avery and Austin Young, Alec and Sophia Squires, Jax, Riley and Everlee Dunn, Cayleigh and Carlie Esmon.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cleo C. and Jewel (Baker) White; son Ronnie White; and grandson Erik White.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.

Arkansas State Police will proudly serve as pallbearers and provide Funeral Honors at the cemetery.
