Mr. Don Calvin Smith, 66, of Knobel, AR., passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at home. Mr. Smith was born in Knobel, AR., on September 28, 1949. He was retired from the Clay County Road Department. He enjoyed fishing and running the river.
He is survived his children Don Smith of Knobel, AR., Lisa Kemper of Spring Valley, CA.; three brothers Roger Smith of Knobel, AR., Gene Smith of Copeland, TX., Jimmy Smith of Sacramento, CA.; four grandchildren Breanna Johnson, Maddie Taylor, Addison Smith and Terrel Kemper.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Ervin "Joe" and Mary Louise (Booth) Smith; one brother Jack Smith; sister Betty Rogers and cousin Steve Smith.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR., with pastor Herbert Ellis officiating.
