Obituary

Carl Craft, 82, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 1, 2025. Born on January 11, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Carl lived a life rich with joy, grounded in family, faith, and a passion for classic cars.

He dedicated many years of service to Chrysler before retiring, after which he embraced the joys of car shows and motorcycle rides. Carl was a proud member of Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, where he found community and connection.

On January 10, 1963, Carl married his beloved wife, Linda Rush. This year, they celebrated an incredible 62 years of marriage, a true testament to their enduring love and commitment to one another.

Carl leaves behind his wife, Linda; children, Cindy Craft and Thomas Craft, both of Poplar Bluff; Missouri; his sister, Jan (Paul) Hollingsworth of Hillsboro, Missouri; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Freida (Hosea) Craft, and his brothers Gene, Herbert, and Bill Craft.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Dave Young officiating. Burial will take place at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westwood Baptist Church, 419 Proctor Dr., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.

Carl Craft will be remembered fondly for his love and dedication to family and friends, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
