Carl Hamlin, Jr.

Mr. Carl Hamlin, Jr., 82, of Brookings, AR., passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at home. Mr. Hamlin was born in Sharum, AR., on February 2, 1934. He was a maintenance worker who enjoyed carpentry and duck hunting. He was of the Christian faith.
He married his wife of 58 years Alma Deen (Daughhetee) Hamlin on May 23, 1957. She survives, other survivors include son Carl Phillip Hamlin of Brookings, AR.; sister Joyce Gates of Prairieville, LA.; two grandchildren Elisha Dawn and Luke Hamlin; great grandchild Rylee Deen McGee; nieces and nephews Vickie Hebert, Sherry Fletcher, and Alan Gates.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Willie Mae (Higginbotham) Hamlin.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randall Pinkston officiating. Burial will follow the services at Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
